Synopsis:The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly study session on Toni Morrison’s exceptional novel, The Bluest Eye. We’ll continue our analysis of how this book illustrates the psychological damage black people suffer from as a result of White people. During our first session exploring this book, we learned about the Breedloves; a typical black “family” turning their frustrations and anger on each other. This section of the book offers a vivid, painful portrayal of how even young children carry an immense level of White Supremacy toxicity.
