The voice of El Hajj Malik El Shabazz continues to resonate and verbalize the global and sadistic terrorism against black people. The war against black people that Minister Malcolm devoted his life to opposing remains; the relevance of his life and work exhibited routinely. Last week’s session provided insight to the irrevocable damage to the relationship between Elijah Muhammad and Minister Malcolm; allegations of Mr. Muhammad’s promiscuous activity jolted Malcolm’s adoration and unquestioning faith. He detailed his time with Muhammad Ali as he trained for his championship bout with Sonny Liston. His sister Ella provided funds for Minister Malcolm to make his life changing voyage to Mecca. As we continue, listeners are advised to keep this text in mind when searching for patience to share with black people.
